CURRENCY
Italy uses the Euro (€). It’s advisable to bring a mix of cash, credit, and debit/ATM cards. You can easily exchange currency at the airport, train stations, or in local banks and exchange offices. ATMs are widely available, but be cautious of excessive withdrawal fees. Small bills are useful for tips, small purchases, and public transportation.
To keep track of real-time exchange rates and easily convert prices while traveling, download the XE Currency Converter app — it’s a helpful tool for budgeting and understanding costs while abroad.
